Can anyone help me? I had a problem with my Yahoo account and changed my password for security. I have a DRoid Motorola Verizon phone
. I went into the settings and changed the general setting, incoming and outgoing all to the new password for my Yahoo email acct. I hit save and it looks fine. Yet when I go to get my emails it says it doesn't match user and password, and by the number of entries, it is clear it is reverting back to the original password.
How do I fix this permanently? Would really appreciate the help. HAd to take the 2 hour geezer class when I got the phone in the first place. It shouldn't be so complicated. Help!

Assuming you have a Razr Maxx, you go into the settings, Accounts & Sync. This is your accounts and sync for everything. It sounds like you may be changing the password for something other than email, such as calendar and contacts maybe? I don't know, but make sure you're changing the email password.

montecito, getting into your emails is very important because I correspond via email for school and personal activities. I understand how frustrating this can be. Are you still having issues with access? The information given by the community is correct, please check to ensure your changing the email password. If you continue to have issues, remove the email account totally from the phone, then readd it back to your phone. The email account may need to be reset. Please keep us posted on the status of your issue.
