How to Remove Shortcuts from the Home Pages

I get how to add shortcuts to the home pages.

When I long press the shortcuts I con't see a Trashcan to drag them to.

Can't find anything in the user manual that covers removal.

On the page where you actually created the new shortcut, long press the shortcut and in the upper right corner the little trash can should appear. Do this on the page not the apps + page.

Stock Launcher has trash can at top but the lauchers like LLP and ADW has option to place it at top of bottom and ADW also allows you to hide trash can and delete by pressing and holding and select delete from popup menu..

That is true for Gingerbread on my Droid X

but not on my Xoom running Honeycomb.

Long press does not bring up a menu (Some have a menu of their own but no option to delete)

Moving the Shortcut to top bottom or either side fails to bring up a trash can.

Hmmm If I long press on the Icon a Trash can pops up for me...

Are you on a Xoom?  Long Press isn't doing it here.

If I tap the Plus sigh it opens up a carosel.  I can move Apps and Widgets up to any one of the Five Pages.

Doesn't hae any way to pull them back off.

Thanks that worked.  Didn't see the little Trash Can in the corner.

Thanks again.

Thank you, this worked for my Droid 4 that I don't see any forum discussions for.
