This is my 4th android phone in 2012. 3rd in the last two weeks. I had the rezound. It just decided to die so they replaced it and it did the same thing two weeks later. I switch to the razr maxx. the first one's microphone didnt work. No one heard me talk unless I was on my bluetooth. Now i have a new razr maxx. hasn't been a week yet. Now for no apparent reason i get a message saying process system has forced closed and the phone constantly resets. Sometimes it boots up all the way then resets again after about 2 minutes. Then sometimes itll never boot up. I just keep seeing the droid moniker over and over again. I held the power button and the down button to reset and that doesnt work anymore. Can somebody please help me. Im desparate and tired of having a phone that doesnt work. I really dont want to switch to the iphone bc its not 4g. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how'd you switch from the rezound to the max?
what apps do you have? lookout/tak killers/watchdog?
did you format the sd card? do a factory reset?
Try a brand new gmail, or make sure you arent bringing the same apps over.
Give this as Try! Have them get you a New Sim Card an when installing it do not touch the Gold Area of the Sim Card it is Very Sensitive i know you have had Manufacture issues with the previous 3 but on this one it sounds like it might be the Sim Card a long shot it May be but give it a Try.. As i said when Installing the Sim be Careful not to Touch the Gold Area of it. It is Sensitive to Static Electricity & the oils on your Fingers..
It really sounds like an APP issue, frankly .. Have you tried booting into SAFE MODE to tule out 3rd party Apps?
- Power off
- Press & Hold BOTH the up and down volume buttons
- Power up the phone - continue to press/hold the Vol buttons for like 1-2 mins.
Phone should come up and say "SAFE MODE" in lower left corner ... test it for a while that would give you a sense of whether your issues are still there, or gone... If no problems in SAFE MODE it's time to start uninstalling apps.. sorry.
Let us know ... and to get out of SAFE MODE, just power off and on as usual.
