The other day the following symbol appeared in the battery icon, I am not sure why but since then I have been having issues with the battery life of my droid razr maxx. I have not changed anything; same day to day usage; no new applications; no changes to configuration...but now the phone is not lasting half as long as it use to....When plug it into a charger it says Charged. I have tried turning off the phone and plugging it in...same issue...almost as if it has a an issue with determining what the battery status is....I have taken it to a VzW shop and talked to the help desk and the only suggestion they have is to perhaps do a factory data reset but they are not sure even that will fix it...I want to do that only as a last resort...has any one else experience this issue before???
Thanks

If you have tried all the following and are still getting a "?" in the battery and poor battery life then the phone needs to be exchanged under warranty (Verizon) or the battery replaced (Motorola). If not under warranty Motorola will replace the battery for a fee (search on the Motorola site). Power the phone off and on between each step.
- Use the original Motorola charger and charge overnight.
- Use a different charger and cable and charge overnight.
- Put the phone into Safe mode and charge/use for a day or so.
- Do a phone cache clear.
- Do a factory reset.
- It's the battery - Replace it.
