I keep getting an error message in the middle of texting it will kick me out saying messaging error, and my family keep telling me they are text me but I'm not getting them???i have shut my phone off several timest to reboot..help

Let's get you messaging again! Try resetting the Messaging app: http://vz.to/1nfLfYq . Power the phone off and back on once again. Retest and let us know how it's working.
