Nope, I even did the manual check for system updates.

We have all been fooled again.  We were suppose to have this in January.

It really would be nice if Verizon cared enough about it's customers to not keep us all in the dark for so long, hanging onto rumors.  They should be sued for even mentioning ICS months and months ago when it is still not available.  I'm not a lawyer, but isn't there a law about false advertising?  From everything I've seen so far, ICS and Razr are just a marketing gimmick to sucker people into buying the phone, not something actually planned or coming.

I agree with rayb. Verizon needs to do a better job of informing people on things like this. Alltel would have never done this!!! Alltel was a whole lot better with there customers.

I called Verizon, after a fairly long hold and wait for the info, I was assured that it is being pushed out starting today.  I was told that if I don't get a notification, to keep checking phone updates manually.  I've been doing so, nothing yet.  Going to keep trying, will call them again tomorrow if it doesn't pop up.

It's not going to happen today...just another rumor gone bust.

It is EXTREMELY annoying though that carriers and(or?) manufacturers keep these things a complete guessing game secret until the OTA is available. Would be nice if they would just POST A DATE!

Now, I know why the don't; they don't want to post it then miss the date getting it prepared...well, FINE, post the date and if you're going to miss it then UPDATE THE DATE with the new scheduled ETA. At least then it would kill the rumor mills, people could have a RELIABLE source to go through to get dates and know when to expect things.

Instead they constantly create these frenzy's and then everyone is let down (anticipation) when it does it and it doesn't live up to the hype.

Just TELL US when it's due, please? And stating "Q2" isn't telling us when, that's a TIMEFRAME not a DATE.

its not happening Q2 either, if it was we would have a date by now, i mean the end of Q2 is a little more the 2 weeks away. i think everyone should file complaints with the BBB and the FCC and possibly the FTC.

I just pressed about phone and check for updates and it downloaded ICS... FINALLY>>>>>wooohooooo thank you Verizon..

I, unlike rayb, actually DID just speak to two separate techs at Verizon whom both assured me that there is no definitive date. And relying on CNET for information regarding Verizon software updates is like relying South Korea for information on North Korea's nuclear arsenal. Unless it's coming from VZW, consider it an unreliable source.

In fact, it has been more or less said on VZW's Twitter page that the roll out isn't going to happen today.

Save what little battery life you have and stop hitting SETTINGS>ABOUT PHONE>SOFTWARE UPDATES, because it ain't happenin' today, PERIOD.

I've been waiting so long for this stupid update, I got all excited when I heard it was coming out June 12th, then I read that its being delayed AGAIN!!! Im getting so frustrated waiting for this update.

Try again Later

Could this mean they have started the rollout??

Well i have learned having two Smart Phones and going threw 4 Os updates you can get upset waiting but does it really do any good!  My answer to that is it makes the Beer or the Ice Cream taste better when drowning in your sorrow of it. b33

That's because every other Verizon customer with a Razr has been doing the same thing all day (including me).

Verizon never announced a date, so anything posted elsewhere is nothing more than rumor.

1. Everyone will continue complaining that it's taking too long.

2. Release will finally occur.

3. There will be issues with the initial release.

4. Everyone will complain that they released it before it was ready.

I want ICS just as bad as everyone else - it will go nicely with my ICS tablet. But they wouldn't still be testing if there wasn't a reason to do so.
