Everybody.... ICS is now available for download via your Droid RAZR/RAZR MAXX Via Settings, System Information and Checking for Updates.
Please let us know how you like it. Your device will need approximately 2 hours to complete the upgrade.
The download and installation lasted approx 45-55 minutes but the rest of the configuration lasted an hour or more thereafter to finalize system and software settings.
An example of how this is determined is application hangups and latency in processing for simple commands like executing a text message.
Please be patient. If it takes longer, let us know.
Enjoy

My wife got it over a week ago. Apparently it was rolled out as a soak test on a completely random basis. If they are going to meet their Q2 deadline then they will have to finish by tomorrow. Since that is not a business day, I expect to see it by the end of the day.

Not available in Scottsdale, Arizona at 1:11PM on the 28th...
I understand here is a way to get it directly, I just do not know the correct link. Perhaps it was at a beta user...?

Not available yet in Mt. Vernon, Illinois but just noticed that the "Check for updates is not available at this time. Try again later." message comes up when I check for update. Perhaps the update is being uploaded to server?

Interesting. It's 2:35 am here on the east coast and I can no longer choose "System updates" from my settings menu on the Maxx. It is now grayed out.
Up until this point, I have been trying to update every couple of hours or so and would continually get the standard "Your device is up to date! No update is necessary at this time."
Now it won't let me manually check. Even after a Power off/on cycle.
Anyone else notice this?

Try a Soft Reset press the Bottom Volume Down And Power at the Same Time then let it Come back. If that doesn't Resolve it I'm not sure what to tell ya Maybe Long Pressing it could get it Unstuck..

Thanks for the suggestion B33. I actually tried that and also rebooted into safe mode, but nothing brought back the the "System updates" option. It's still grayed out. I've never seen this before.
EDIT: Oh well. I'm going to bed. Maybe I'll wake up to some Ice Cream for breakfast! By the way, I tried on 4G and WiFi.
