Wgen i use my phone to call text or use the internet, does being connected to the hotel Wi-Fi use any calling minutes or data from the calling plan allotment?
I hope that your trip is going well Janisann. One great thing about being connected to WiFi while traveling doesn't result in any cost. This is the best way to keep connected while travelling.

When you connect to hotel wifi:
your data is not used as that is going through the hotel wifi, but
text and calling will Be expensive international usage.
There is a way to do all wifi data with text and calls, if you are set up right with message+ or other apps.
