I noticed people are having some different issues after installing the latest Droid update. I just installed it a couple of hours ago, and am now not able to access text messaging. I try to open the Text Messaging app and it just spins and eventually the screen goes black...sometimes I'm able to back out of it, and sometimes I have to restart because it freezes. I also try going into my Go SMS Pro, and that just gives me a message that says, "GO SMS Pro is not responding. Would you like to close it?" I had a friend text me to test it, and haven't received the message, nor am I able to send a message to anyone.
The screen has also been lighting up randomly as if it is getting some kind of notification...or going dark while I'm in the middle of playing a game. It's just acting very strange. I have tried restarting several times, as well as toggling to Airplane mode and then back. Nothing is helping, and this is making it VERY difficult to get my weekend plans together! Any suggestions?
