sounds like you got a free upgrade
but i'm sure what problems you had on your droid4 will be the same problems on the razr. Since most android problems are not related to faulty devices but the applications/sd card or a combo of both

Don't really want the hear the problems will persist? I didn't have this issue with my previous Android... but it also was not a Motorola. I have a bad feeling about Motorola. Lots of bad blogs out there. Now I'm stuck in a two year contract. I can only hope for the best.

So it's possible it could be the SD card?

I mean i have no idea what your problem is but the droid4 is an amazing phone.. if you had a problem with that phone, i'm just guessing you will have a problem with the razr.
I hope i'm wrong though

Both Droid 4 phones started sounding like bees buzzing in my ear (blown speakers), while talking on the phone. I find it very odd this would happen with both phones; occurring just days after getting the phones. There are blogs out there with other users having the same issue. Why would you say I will have the same issue with the Razr Maxx? My previous Android did not have this problem. My concern is the reliability of a Motorola smartphone.

There's one member on here who liked the Razr Maxx so much he added a line to get a second one.

I have a feeling they upgraded me from a Droid 4 to the Razor Maxx because I had the issues with both phones within two week's time and didn't want to take a chance with a 3rd phone? I really don't know, but the phone came today and it's definitely an upgrade. : ) (I hope it's a keeper!)

usually you have to try 3-4 replacements AND beg them, before they will let you try a different model. unless they actually run out of inventory. obviously, then they would have to give you something else.

I've had my Droid Razr Maxx for four months now and the Ice Cream Sandwich OS for roughly a month. Have had no problems and love the phone. I should mention that I have a GO Launcher as my launcher so that now I have 7 screens instead of the Razr 5 screens. Plus I can change scenes whenever I get bored with the one I have currently on my phone. Also, I am very, very fussy about what apps I put on. Bad apps are 95 percent the cause for phone problems (my personal guesstimate). I take no apps with less than 3 stars and I read the reviews carefully. I also check to see what each apps uses. If they use personal information and I believe that they don't need it, I don't download it.

I'm very paranoid about the apps, too. It the reviews aren't favorable and, the same as you, the star rating isn't there, forget it. I never had any problems with my LG android (except for low memory issues - but that was an issue with the model). Each day that passes and no issues have developed with my Razr Maxx, I'm relieved.
