Loud buzz in every incoming call

Hi guys.  For the last few days, every time I get an incoming call in my droid razr maxx, I get a very loud buzz when I answer.  So loud that I cannot hear the other person.  I have to call them back.  Help!!!  Anyone else have this problem, or a suggestion?

Help is here! I am sure this would get frustrating quickly! Is this still happening? If you are using any case or screen protector on the device, please remove as it may be causing audio distortion issues. This would most likely be a hardware related concern, although I have not come across similar situations. Please keep me posted so I can assist further.
