Low volume

My Razr has lost most of its volume for phone calls. The device sounds are like they have been, but the speaker volume is almost impossible to hear. I've tried turning the hands-free speaker on and it's still very quiet. People on the other end have no problem hearing me...I just can't hear them. I have the volume control turned up as high as it will go, so device sounds are too louds, but speaker volume doesn't change.  I installed ICS last week, but this volume problem just began in the last day or two. Any suggestions would be appreciated~Thanks

As an update to my volume problem. I'm in a room with stereo speakers. I had my hubby call my phone after turning my phone on and off. Now the hands-free speaker volume is finally working...not sure what changed since the phone had been off during the night. But I still can't hear him with my phone to my ear, but he can hear me fine...however, his voice is now coming out of my stereo speakers. This wasn't happening last week!  I turned off my stereo and had him call me again.  The hands-free speaker is still working fine, but I can't hear him at all through the phone and now he can't hear me either.  Also the phone didn't ring, his picture just appeared so I knew he was there.

You might Try clearing of the Cache Partition that might Help...

This morning I turned off the bluetooth and now the phone is working correctly. I don't remember if the bluetooth icon was lit before I upgraded to ICS, or if the setting got changed with the upgrade. I know I hadn't manually turned it on. Anyway, now I can hear through the ear-speaker and not through my stereo speakers.

As there were changes to the Bluetooth platform that was in Gingerbread to I.C.S this could have it effected your phone in the Way you described it's good you got it back working again..if in the Future if your bluetooth should have any issues you can go to Applications--> Manage Applications find were bluetooth is and clear the Cache and the Data and by doing that it would be like starting new with the Feature..b33Smiley Happy
