Marshmallow update draining my battery much faster than before

I have a Droid Turbo that I got specifically because of the giant battery. Prior to my phone being force-fed the Marshmallow update (a week or two ago), I would often get one-and-a-half and sometimes two days on a charge. While I haven't used a timer before or after, it definitely seems like it takes longer to charge up than before the update.
Now I have to charge it morning and night, and sometimes during the day to make sure I don't run out of electrons. What do I need to do to restore the performance I had before?
Thanks for your help.

CFray, a reliable battery is key when it comes to your Droid Turbo. We're sorry to learn of the issues you encountered since the Marshmallow update. How do you currently use your device? How frequently are you using apps, wifi, the web, streaming and downloading information? Also, what steps (if any) have you attempted since the new software was installed?

My husband is having the same issue. He is not doing anything differently on his phone since the update. I believe all he has tried is powering it off and restarting it.

Has he cleared the cache data since the update?
