Motocast

I love the concept of motocast, to access the thousands of songs on my PC! Anywhere! But it never works anymore and it always says the PC im linked to is offline. Nothing I do works to fix this problem...

Any help would be wonderful, thanks.

Moto Cast had issues as we updated to ISC it worked best with Gingerbread and if i can remember right it won't at all with Jelly Bean that is why Motorola Dropped the hole Program when they came out with the new phones..

Well i shouldn't have said stop it all together as some things might still Work kind of good   but what ICS did good for allot of stuff it wasn't the case for Motocast and using the phone with the Laptop Dock which Moto Killed off and Verizon stopped selling Months Ago.! b

  Are you doing the MotoCast updates on the PC? There have been a couple recently.

I actually did do those but I got nothing. It shows all y music in the My Library area, real time, but the songs are not highlighted and when i click on one it says my phone or my PC are off line...

  iTunes is still on the machine, correct? You are running it through MY MUSIC app, correct? When you look at the opening screen of the app, and it show either PLAYLIST or ARTIST, or ALBUM or something on the top left, there is a circle like icon towards the top right. When you click on that, does it show your computer listed there and checked?

  I like using MotoCast because when it is playing the songs, it shows the lyrics of it so you can follow along.

  I have uploaded my music to Google Play, I have tried other ways also, but MotoCast has worked very well for me because I need my playlists out of iTunes.

After Motorola Gets done what there Doing and Re-leasing Jelly Bean MotoCast and many other Motorola things that came with Gingerbread and ICS will be History  love it for all it's worth Now! because in a short Time it's out of Here..

And that is exactly what I plan on doing, keeping my phone on ICS for the foreseeable future. No need to update to JB for me.

  Did you read the page and the details? It is not going away, just as a stand-along app:

MOTOCAST is no longer integrated into MyMusic, Files, and Gallery, and is a stand alone app on the device. It has been enhanced with an easy to understand interface, faster speeds, higher performance and ability to support large content libraries. Will need to re-log into the app using your MOTOCAST ID to continue remote access.

Well for what it's worth D.U. yea it's still there but then again it's going to be some what different.. I'll know more when i get the Update..
