I'm very disappointed with this phone's ability to play music. The default play music app cannot play a complete song without cutting out or skipping. It's highly annoying. Especially since it smartphones are really expensive things to have. Inability to execute a basic feature like playing music, it's just unacceptable.
You can go to the Google Play Store and look for a better music playing app. They are both free and paid.
I have paired up my Music through bluetooth sound bar, stereo head phones, and over my router to use on networked devices.
Are you playing music saved to your device? To over the air storage devices? Are you playing music through radio apps? Might you be using Google Play? sometimes unless the music is right on your device there can be a lag in music playing.
Then wifi versus 3G or 4G playing can be lagging its the way things are unfortunately.
