My Droid Maxx is frozen and unresponsive.

I cant even power it down. I keep getting notifications on my lock screen, but when i go to open them i am just taken to the screen that has been frozen for four hours.

Have you tried holding the power and volume down buttons simultaneously for 15-30 seconds to see if that reboots the phone?
