My white/green indicator light is no longer working on my Razr Maxx while the phone is turned off and plugged into the wall charger. What happened? Is there a way to turn this light on or off in the setting menu? I think it quit working after the latest update was loaded.

This is a peer to peer user community forum not tech support. There are some VZW employees here from the social media team that might be able to respond in a few days if none of the users have any suggestions.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I am not having a problem with either of these issues. However, after the update I went through all my settings and made sure they were where they were previous to the update. Some of them had been changed. So if you haven't done that, I would start there, along with a simple reboot. Hopefully that remedy the issue.

You mean your charge indicator light is working when you plug it in to charge?

I have tried to reset my settings. I can't find anything that turns on or off the charging indicator light.

The indicator light should come on when the phone is turned off and the charger is plugged in. In my case the light quit working a few days ago.

My bad. I thought it was working, but I just checked and it's not either. Strange. I'll have to look into this too.

I've done some looking around and apparently this is a known item after the update. I hope they bring it back.

If its the last software update thay caused this issue then it should be an easy fix during the next update. I sure liked the Indicator light when it was working. I sure hope they fix this.

My Maxx is showing the Same Sign When i was on the Android Central Site i was looking in on there Forum an Ran across this then as i said i checked my Maxx an No Indicator Light. An one's have Contacted Motorola on the Problem. So if you want this issue fixed contact Motorola Not Verizon as they're not the one that came up with the Softwear Motorola did. Just a (note) this same thing Happened with the Droid X after Fro-Yo came out an it has not been fixed since. So it might be a long wait before it's Fixed. B33

You're right I did go to Android Central Site and seen the site your are talking about. I guess at this time its a waiting game to see if Motorola knows about and fixes this issue on thier next software update.

There area a few apps in the marketplce that can be used to customize your LED light. I would recommend looking at those and seeing if that helps at all.
