NETWORK UNKNOWN On DROID X AN RAZR MAXX

I suppose this Question has been asked in the past but i wanted to throw it in here Again on my new Razr Maxx an on my Droid X it says when i go to Settings > About Phone > then to Status an scroll to Network it Comes up with  Unknown    now i Know i have an old Alltel Plan just like Budone does.  But to me it should say Network Verizon But as i said it says Unknown an every since i got my droids i have scratched   my head on this one.. as to me it shouldn't matter what plan your on it's all Verizon an Verizon Phones it should say that there. But as always i Guess there's a Reason for that.

I think your Network saying "Unknown" has a lot to do with your Alltel PRL.

I know my family that had a Verizon android phone with an Alltel PRL had their network listed as "Unknown".
