My droid razr is not getting an internet connection and i took it to a verizon store and everything looked fine but she called someone and they told her that there is an issue with the 4 g phones nationwide. Is anyone else have a problem with their 4 g phone? I am beginning to think i should've got an iphone now!

I have been problems with my phone holding the network for two weeks. The girl 5 feet from me shows full bars all day. My RAZR MAXX will not hold a network. I literally took it to Verizon this morning and their only solution was to 'reset' the phone. Now it wont connect to the blue tooth in my car. I think I am turning it in for a warranty replacement. I had an ipone on ATT for 6 years and never had a problem. I wanted to try something new and I am really sorry I did. I have had nothing but problems with Verizon and Motorola

I have been having problems all morning with no internet connection or my Droid Razr...will not connect 3g or 4g. I love my Razr but I am seriously having doubts about whether or not I am going to stay with it if Verizon doesn't get this network reliability issues fixed. I travel with my job several days a month and rely on it to stay in touch.

Same here- just got a Droid Razr Saturday and have no data connection today. I called tech support and she said there is an outage, and they have no ETA on when this will be resolved. This is extremely frustrating for me because I switched from Cspire Saturday because their service there is in the toilet, and now I'm already having an issue with Verizon today... I hope they get this fixed very soon!

I just got my Razr on Saturday too. I was thrilled to see I had network at work on Monday (I had Tmobile before and never had service at work). Then today my phone wouldnt connect to a network. I couldnt wait to get home to call and see if there was something wrong with my service, but i knew there wouldnt be because my BFs phone was fine, even though he was in NY for work.

i just spent about an hour on the phone with customer service, ended up doing a factory reset and nothing happened, still no network. Ended up going to the store, they switched out my sim card and did an update on my phone. Seems to be working now, but we will see for how long

Check the 4G LTE space under the Verizon Wireless Services section of this community.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

My Razr has been doing GREAT since I got it on Saturday. I never had service at work before with Tmobile and was so thrilled to see that with the Razr and with Verizon I did.
This morning I woke and it seemed fine, but when I got to work I had no network. I am glad to see this post but hope it is fixed soon. Now that I am home it is going from 4g to 3g to 1x then nothing. I have no idea what 1x is.
Text and Call service has been just fine.

I bought my Razr Saturday also in south central Nebraska. Worked like a champ until Tuesday afternoon and have had no network connection since. Very frustrating. 4 people that day were in the Verizon store with the same issues and all they said it is a network issue they are trying to resolve. A day and a half later, still no network!

I have a brand new razr also. I had no problems with my internet for the first couple days now it has been 4 days and I have no connection. When I try to connect it says " No internet connection". About once a day my phone will show 3G service but it is gone as fast as it appears. This tells me it is not a setting in my phone and I have tried rebooting. I too am paying for a service that I am not able to use. Anyone have any ideas?

Same exact problem here. Got my new Razr and it worked for 2 weeks no problem and now no internet connection. I rebooted phone multiple times, shut down all running services and apps, even deleted the new apps I downloaded. Nothing has worked, so I believe its the service like everyone else is saying.

They told me Tuesday it was a 4G issue. They resolved that and a 3G issue happened Wednesday as a result of the first issue. They told me this afternoon the techs are still working on it, but don't know how much longer it will take. I turned my phone off and on, pulled the sim card and restarted it, did a factory reset, and made sure the phone was in cmda only mode. Still no network connection. I buy my first smartphone, have lightning fast 4G when I was in Lincoln, NE Tuesday, and now nothing!

I went in on Tuesday because I had no network and they switched my sim card out. Then I had a problem on Wednesday, something to do with my sim car dismounting? and then I was fine on Thurday.
Here is it Friday, started off ok with network and now I have nothing. I am beyond furious, i didnt switch to Verizon to have constant problems within the first week of being with them.
Right after work I am going back to the store (for the 4th time this week) and this better get fixed!
I will keep this forum updated.

Kait3w at the time that Sim was replace was it by chance touched in the Gold area of it. If it was.. that can cause a possible issue because of the static that's in a Human's Body an also because of the Oil that's in our fingers those two combinations can cause possible failure or other issues in a Sim Card. You always want to handle the Sim by it's Edges an make sure it is fully Seated in the Razr i have had my Razr Maxx for over a month now an not had one Issue with it but i put the Sim in my Self an as i explained i held it by it's Edges. So you may need to get another Sim an if you Do Have them send you One. It will be in a Little Packet. Give this a Try! B33

After that I had them replace my sim the first time i was showing problems and then when that sim card problem came up i had them change it again. so i dont thing it was the sim card it self. i think that sim card problem had to do with the phone.

I was going to the Verizon store near my house, but today I ended up going to the Verizon store near my work. I figured I would give the problem to some new minds rather then go to the same people that seem to not be fixing my problem.
Down side is that I didnt really get a straight explanation as to what is causing the network to come and go as it has for me.
The up side is that this store did explain to me that seeing that 4G is still pretty new it isnt everywhere yet. That being said they think the problem is with the network jumping to 4G to 3G and back and forth.
The tech I was working with today set my Razr to 3G mode (Settings - Wireless & Networks - Mobile Networks - Network Mode - CDMA Only) (CDMA/LTE is the 4G).
He also said to look out for system updates (which there is one out now if you havent done it yet, it takes a few minutes but its easy, this update changes the look of the settings and such, its in color now.)
The system updates that come out will slowly have the right kinks for 4G networks in the areas that dont officially have 4G yet. I am in RI so right now the only place that has 4G for sure is Providence.
To get to the system updates: Settings - About Phone - System Updates.
When you click on System Updates it searches to see if there are any and will tell you if your phone is up to date or not.
Hope this helps some of you. As of right 3G is doing just fine, and is still super fast!
I will keep you all updated!
