New Droid Razr M will not update from 4.0.4 to 4.1, what to do?

My new Razr M will not download the OTA update to 4.1. It states that the download is available, and after 5 minutes or so has an error and says it will "resume download shortly" where it remains indefinitely. Or it will say "unexpected error" and to try again later. The update says it is 98.12.4.en.US (254.1 mb).

I have tried clearing the cache, multiple power cycles, trying it on wifi and 4G all with no success. Should I do a factory reset on the phone? Is there somewhere I can download this update to external memory? Any information would be greatly appreciated as the download icon in the notification bar is extremely annoying and I feel as if it is mocking me.

I have found the solution, which may work for other phones as well after dealing with the helpful tech support of Motorola. First download the motorola device manager and install that. Turn the wifi, gps, and mobile data off from your device and than connect the phone via USB. Once you do, the program will check for updates and will download the update to your computer and than transfer it to the phone. Hope this will save somebody the headache it caused me!

I read in another thread that there is an issue with Motorola's server; you may want to wait a few days and then try again.

It has been close to two weeks now. I am mainly looking for somewhere to download the file so I can install it through my external memory. Does anybody know of a source to download the install .zip from?
