Recently my phone updated to 4.1.2
I noticed now when I make calls, my menu has changed significantly. The End call button is larger, and then DialPAd, Speaker, Mute and Add Call appear across the bottom. I find it way to easy to accidentally clikc ht Add Call button, especially because it was placed where the previous Speaker button was located. So several times, I inadvertently pressed it. and found myself lost in Add Call land. Worse, given my phone's security, if a call comes in when the phone is locked, and I accidentally click Add Call, pressing the back button does not return me to my phone call-- instead it basically mutes the call and leaves it hanging. So I have lost two or three phone calls because of a button placement.
I wonder if the people laying out the screen had considered the human factors in their change: you put a button that will be very infrequently used where a much more frequently used button is located (only a small percentage of calls are every three way). Plus it appears that Droid did not test the button's interaction with security and what happens when it is pressed with the phone locked.
Is it possible to configure this menu? If not, perhaps others can weigh in on whether they consider the four buttons critical enough to appear on the phone at all times-- or if it would be better to hide the Add Call below the phone's built-in menu feature?

Well honestly, it is what it is .. Along with some other things this was changed (permanently) with JB ... you'll have to get used to it, sorry. or seek out a 3rd party DIALER App (if one exists).
