Can not send text messages. What have I done wrong.

To be honest, my guess is that you're not doing anything wrong. So, don't be discouraged because I'm here to make sure you get back in the loop with texting.
Before I forget, congratulations on your new RAZR MAXX! Now, when you say that you cannot send text messages? Are you able to open the messaging application or are text messages just failing? I would recommend starting with simply restarting your phone. That will help it resync with our network so we can get your text messages sending. Are you having trouble receiving as well? Next, let's clear some data. To do this, go to settings > applications > manage applications > find the messaging app > clear data > force close. Then give it a shot. If this doesn't work, we may want to evaluate your account so then I'd love to hear back. Thanks for your time!

Went to Verizon store and they fixed the problem

So what was the issue, did they say?
They did not say, but it took approx. 30-45 minutes with the store person and
the technical verizon person to resolve the problem.
Most likely they reset your text message feature from the network side.
