I bought my Droid Razr Maxx a few months ago and I'm really starting to have buyer's remorse. I have a data package, but can never get online unless I use a wireless connection. I also cannot receive picture messages, which I really do not understand and sometimes, it won't even let me send pic messages. I don't know what the deal is, but if someone knows something I don't, please help me before a throw my phone out of a window!

Smartphones use the MMS system to send and receive pictures, so if you do not have a data connection, then that is your problem. If you were to jump on a Wi-Fi connection, that would work in place of the 4G/3G broadband connection, and it should work.

Cost to Much if you got Questions on your Maxx you came to the Right place Ok ! Just give Us time to Answer them ! b33
You need to Tell us a few things:
1. The Equipment your Trying to Hook up too an your Settings you got it on
2. On pictures you take an want to send you have to set them up so as the File Size excepts it if it is too Big it Will Reject it.
3. Go to your Settings > then to Data Manager and Check! Data Enable..

Did you (or anyone at Verizon) ever solve the picture messaging problem? I just got my Razr last week (built in August) and I cannot send pic/txt mssgs either, and I don't know why. Pic size is 6, not 8, and I have WiFi, GPS, all the invisible connections.... any advice? Thanks!

If you are sending the picture via text message, you need to have an active cellular data connection (3G or 4G). It won't send over the WiFi network.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Thanks! OK, I am at home with working WiFi, and 3G shows on top of the phone. What phone settings do I need to put in place & where? I figured it out on my phone, but I was fairly delirious by then, but now can't set my DH's to work the same. As I recall, it had to do with (I think) CDMA settings in two places, in one place there were 3 options and in the other I think there were 2 options. What settings might prevent it from sending? I can't find any places where his and mine are not the same, but I'm definitely missing something somewhere because I can't navigate my way back to those setting options. Thanks for your help!

You really shouldn't have to set those things, if your broadband works for browsing the internet, or getting to the app store, then MMS messages should work.
I would turn off wifi first, and see what works then. Try the app store or the browser, and see if they work. If they do, then MMS messages should also send/be received.
The other thing about it, there could be restrictions on your line (account) that could be not letting you send/receive mms messages.
Can you send regular text messages?
