Not eligible for SMS

Why when I click on the My Verizon app to try to login this here comes up It looks like your device is not eligible for SMS and you do not have your email-id set up. If you need help, give us a call at 800.922.0204. I'm forever running into a problem the way I see it

It's finally working, it is the Motorola Moto G Play 2021, a different customer service representative helped me got it going, I had to be unregistered and had to re-register my account back into the system and it worked out for me, yep

I know for a fact that I have did that part to verify my email for validation and it still wanna do that

What is the make and model of the device you are trying to use in order to log in? Do you have any smartphones or basic phones on the account that are capable of receiving SMS?
