Not receiving text messages

I am not receiving text messages from ONE specific person.  He IS receiving my messages but I am not receiving his.  His number is NOT blocked.  How can I fix this??

  I would look at that person's phone, and their contacts. Maybe your number is in his contacts wrong? He can send to everyone else fine? You can send yo everyone else fine?

Yes, he can send to everyone else fine and so can I.  I can receive everyone eles's texts as well.  Very frustrating.

Just for grins, both of you delete each other's phone number.  Reboot and the re-add that person.  Sometimes a number gets corrupted for whatever reason.  Hope this works.

Prettywild, let's get this text messaging mystery solved. Do you have the Usage Controls feature on your line? Usage Controls will restrict incoming text messages from certain phone numbers.

I also recommend that your friend contacts his wireless provider to verify if there are any usage controls or restrictions for sending you text messages. Additionally, he also need to confirm that your ten digit mobile number is correctly saved in his contacts. Keep us posted. ^LH
