Just on my way back from Laos where a dealer installed a SIM card into my Droid RAZR ICS. He made a few changes for the Laos company I selected and I want to make sure my phone will be usable once I re-insert the Verizon SIM card and touch down again on US soil. Can anyone help with any specific settings I need to adjust or change? I'm assuming the setting will involve Global vs GMS/UMTS and I've now got a different Access Point Name. Not sure if the re-insertion of the Verizon card will automatically re-set or if I need to do anything more.

Do you still have the default APN from Verizon Wireless loaded in the phone?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

No, however I've further researched this and one fellow with a Droid Razr Maxx indicated that all he did was land in the US and turn the phone on and it started to work. I also looked up A:PN numbers and one source indicated that Verizon didn't use such APNs, so now I'm really confused. What I have done is switch my phone from GSM (which they use in Laos) back to Global network mode and I've also locked the roaming while I'm still overseas, but without a Laos SIM (I'm in Thailand for just a few days and don't really need the phone here). I guess I can call Verizon during my long layover on the way home, but good luck finding a pay phone anywhere anymore.
