I have been googling this and see many others have had problems. I can charge the phone from the PC but it does not connect. Tried that latest drivers from Motorolla and tried another USB port. Tried restarting my PC no good either. Windows 7 does not see this device. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Brian

Certainly sounds like a bad cable. If you can get your hands on a different phone to computer USB cable, see if that one will work. If it does, then take your bad cable to your local Verizon store and get it swapped out for a new one.

Hey lancerdad34!
Sorry to hear you are having troubles with your device connecting to your computer! I do agree that we may have an issue with the cable, but it may also be the USB port. Some are only meant for charging and not data transfer. I see you have tried an alternate port, but please try an alternate computer and see if it has the same error.
Also, please make sure that your phone is in the correct mode. When you plug it into the computer, there is an option in the drop down notification bar where you can change the connect settings. Make sure that is it for USB Mass Storage or even Media Sync.
Please let us know! Thanks!
