I entered a password into my Droid Turbo and I would like to remove it but I can't seem to figure out how. Can anyone help?

On my Droid Turbo 2 (Android 7.0), I just changed my Settings->Security->Screen Lock from 'Swipe' to 'PIN"  and was able to do the reverse from 'PIN' to 'Swipe'.  Is this the password you are referring to?

...Just another VZW customer...trying to offer some assistance...
