The bars on my Droid RAZR have suddenly started to disappear. The phone then turns itself off and back on and won't charge when I put it on my charger. Until this problem happened 4 days ago my phone has had 4-5 bars in my home, and still does except for the random disappearances. How can I keep the number of bars I have consistent?
Well it could be your P.R.L is out of date and it needs updating call Customer Service 1-800-922-0204 option 3 and ask if there is a New P.R.L code in your Area. To update it shut the phone off then turn it back on Just remember You Can No Longer do a *228 option 1 update as you possibly did with previous phones. Your Sim will do it Automatically but sometimes it needs a push.
To check the P.R.L --> Go to settings --> About Phone --> Status --> Scroll down to P.R.L there is a 5 digit no. just like the sample --> here 11111
