I was talking on my phone this morning for about 5 minutes and when I took the phone away from my ear to end the call, the screen was just black. I charged my phone overnight so it had a full battery. However, now it will not turn back on even when it's been on the charger for 30+ minutes. I've tried plugging it into my computer and still...nothing. I could see if the battery had died and the charger was faulty, but like I said it had a FULL battery when I took it off the charger not even an hour before the 5 minute phone call was made. I've even held the power button for 2 minutes, taken out the SD card and chip, pressed the volume up/down buttons, anything I can think of and nothing has helped. Has anyone else had this issue before? I plan to stop by a Verizon store today to see if they can help and will post whatever results in case it will be helpful to someone else, but it'd be nice if anyone had a suggestion before I venture there! Thanks!

Press and hold the Volume Down and the Power button together for 10 to 15 seconds. Wait a minute and try powering it back on as you normally would.

I wished Motorola would Quite Sending those ---- U.S.B Cable type Chargers in with the Phones all they Do is Screw things Up..
They need go back to Putting the old traditional type Chargers back in the Box..

Hi, I bought my Razr Maxx on Saturday. Worked fine until Tuesday around 10am when it shut down on its own and I was unable to turn it back on. Charged all night with the charger it came with. Took it back to Verizon store where they rebooted it by holding volume and power button down. Thursday it happened again at about 11:00am fully charged. I can only see a green light on the left top of screen. I rebooted it myself and then proceeded to go back to the Verizon store after work. They checked out the phone and said it is working properly. Do I need to reboot the phone every other day to make it work? I have only had it for 6 days. Since I am working, I have not used the phone but only to take a call or make a call on my break. Am I making it crash?
