Angela220, no worries, I'm here to help.  The software of some applications can can cause other applications to force close. Have you downloaded a few applications to your device? If so, I recommend that you delete any unwanted applications to your phone in Settings>Manage Applications>Uninstall application. Once you have deleted unwanted applications, power your device off/on. I trust that this will improve the performance of your phone. For more support for your device, click http://bit.ly/y5iuoj

If you received the JellyBean update just recently, issues could be happening because of stuff in the system cache. If you clear the system cache, it COULD fix your issue(s). To perform the System Cache Wipe, do the following:

Please note, the 5th step I did not do right the first time, so it did nothing. Press and hold the volume down and wait for a second or 2 and then press and hold the volume up and the volume down buttons for about 4-5 seconds, and then release.

Thanks Franzel from Moto Support.

Franzel: Turn the phone off and perform Clear Partition. Clearing the partition will remove any temporary files that may be causing the problem, but will not delete your files or settings.

- Power the phone down.

- Hold the volume up and down and power key down all at the same time until you see the Boot Mode Selection Menu. This should happen within a couple of seconds.

- Press the volume down key until "Recovery" is highlighted. Press the volume up key to select.

- Wait until you see a triangle with an exclamation point in it.

- Press and hold the volume down key. While doing that, press and hold the volume up key then release them. This should put you into the Android system recovery.

- Press the volume down key until wipe cache partition is highlighted.

- Press the power button to select. You will be brought back to the Android system recovery utility when it is complete.

- Press the power button to select "reboot system now". Wait for the phone to boot.

Thank you for your response & assistance.  I actually had to call into Verizon & basically this is exactly what they told me to do. It's just such a hassle to have to delete everything and reinstall them.  Are there any good apps that I should get for my Motorola Razr Maxx & my Nexus 7 tablet OR any that I should not get? I really would like to get the best use out of my devices without damaging them. Thank you so very much for your assistance.  God bless!

Thank you very much for your response. I did end up having to call into Verizon & had to do a factory reset which means I had to delete everything and now I am trying to reinstall most of my apps. I am just wondering if there are any apps that I should or should not get?  Your assistance would be greatly appreciated!
