Pop up: "Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped"

I powered my phone off last night and now I keep getting this pop-up...any ideas?  I have gone into system settings and WiFi is on but I don't know what to do and there is no Verizon reps available to chat.  I can make calls, (after hitting "OK" several times to get the pop-up to go away) so I know I can call Verizon but I think it would be easier to chat.

Go into safe mode and see if the message pops up. If it does not, it is an app issue or conflict. If it still shows up, I would do a master reset after backing everything up. And pull the SIM card before doing the reset.

Okay...how do I go into safe mode?  And to back everything up, are you referring to backup assistant?

Thank you for taking time to try to help me, I really appreciate it!

Backing up as in Backup Assistant and moving all pix, ringtones and such to your laptop or home computer. Let me see how to get to safe mode on your phone
