Power Button Troubles

So, I dropped my phone in water, stuck it in rice immediately, and it ended up glitching so much that the battery completely drained. I stuck it back into rice and put it on the charger for a day and I woke up with it turned on, everything works on the screen and the up/down volume works too. The only problem is that my power button doesn't work. Anyone have this happen before? I was told that it's tough to get the inside dried since there's no way to take the phone apart. 😕

How long did you leave it in rice? Usually the longer the better, up to 2 to 3 days generally helps the most.

It's been about two days so far. There's still water droplets in my camera screen, but hopefully it will go away with more rice.

Yeah I would probably leave it in there as long as you can. Try an additional couple of days if you can do without it that long.
