Professional audio system not working?

So ever since the latest software (security) update on the Samsung Galaxy s5, I've noticed that it brought upon many issues. One of these issues has to do with the built-in Professional Audio system or SAPA. This feature allows S5 users to use various apps such as Soundcamp and amplitube. However after the December update, my phone has not been able to use this SAPA feature thereby preventing me from using some of the apps. Also, whenever I'm on the phone, the SAPA feature activates even though it's not suppose to. My battery has also been draining a lot more recently.

It's a bit frustrating how much my S5 has been affected after one simple software update. I thought software updates were supposed to improve your phone? And also, why is it that the VERIZON galaxy s5 is still on Lollipop 5.0 while the T-Mobile galaxy S5 is on Lollipop 5.1? Sometimes I honestly regret not getting my phone with another carrier.

Fears, lets work towards a better phone experience. I can understand the dismay as this update seems to have set you back a step. What happens when you try to use the SAPA option? Have you updated the applications that are not working with it? Is there any other related issues or error messages?

Whenever I try to use the SAPA feature, it simply does not work. The applications that are suppose to utilize it give me an error message that states "error connecting to the audio service." One of the application developers actually released a statement recently saying that the VERIZON galaxy s5 has not been able to use this application. However, it seems this is not an issue with other galaxy s5's from other carriers. Just Verizon and it's been happening ever since the latest software update. And Also, I just found out that my phones mic doesn't seem to work either. So at this point, what I really want to know is how much longer do I have to wait until the next software update? Because clearly these, and many other, issues have stem from Verizon's latest software update . There's not much I could probably do to fix this issue so I hope that I don't need to wait to long for you guys to do something.
