I'm stumped as to how I can open vehicle mode when not connected to the car dock. Obviously, I'd rather not do my set up while driving or just sitting in a hot parking lot. Not seeing a listing in my apps to just open it.
A somewhat related question on the OEM dock with both the charger and aux-in cable. I have a 2012 VW Beetle and can get my music playing via the Bluetooth connection, but not through the aux-in setting. Is there any difference? I can play music via the car speakers through Bluetooth, but still need to use the phone screen for all the controls. Does this work differently if I can get the aux-in connection working?
