RAZR MAXX continuous rebooting and no service

After 4 months of flawless service, my MAXX this morning started a continual rebooting and says "no service" when it starts up again. It will boot and on the home screen displays "no service" on the bottom. It will stay like that for about a minute and then automatically reboot. This will loop continuously. I have tried starting in safe mode and it still does the same thing. I have removed the SD card and started without it installed and it does the same thing. I've read some stuff about the SIM card possibly going bad and causing this but I haven't seen any definitive answers. I have tried to do the cache wipe and still the same situation. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Try a new SIM card (they're free at Corporate Verizon stores).

Even if I remove the current SIM card completely, I still have the same rebooting issue. Would replacing the SIM possibly still be a fix if I reboot all the time even without one?

If it is rebooting without the SIM card installed, then I would start to suspect application conflict. To test this, boot up the phone in safe mode. I don't know how to do get your phone model in safe mode, but a search of this community or the Verizon Wireless website should yield the steps.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I don't know if a new SIM card will fix it or not, but it won't hurt to try since it looks like you've tried most everything else. Another option is to back everything up, pull the SD card, and do a factory reset.

Unfortunately, it won't stay running long enough before rebooting to do a back up. I haven't installed any new apps in weeks and this rebooting problem just started today. Additionally, it will still do automatic reboots with both the SIM card and SD card removed and also running in Safe Mode. Not feeling too optimistic.

At the risk of repeating myself ... bummer . Hopefully the replacement won't give you any trouble.

Just had this happen today and I'm commenting for others who may have this same issue. Don't give up! I contacted Verizon and they suggested I remove the SIM card for 10 seconds, reinsert, and then reboot the phone. It worked
