RAZR Maxx died last night

Anyone have this problem?  Last night while using Life 360 to see where a family member was located, I found the member then asked the GPS in the phone to located me.  At that point, the phone locked up and refused to let me reboot.  I finally got it to turn off, but it refuses to turn back on again.

Anyone experience this problem?  I think, but am not certain, the the battery is not customer accessible.  I thought if I could remove the battery and replace it I might get it to boot.  I plan to take it into the Verizon store where I purchased it two months ago for resolution.  Hopefully I have not lost my contact list and tons of other info and Apps. with this failure.

I'll let you know when and if this is resolved.  Very disappointing to say the least.

No, the Razr Maxx's battery isn't removable.  An alternate to a battery pull is to hold the volume down button and the power button simultaneously for 15-20 seconds.  Might want to try that and see if maybe it'll boot your phone up.  Good luck!

Thank you.  The combination of up volume and power button got it to come on again.  I hope this is a seldom occuring problem and not something that is going to happen again and again.

Wahoo!  Glad you are up and running again, and hopefully your phone won't 'play dead' again anytime soon.
