I have noticed a few comments on the Razr M sound cutting off. This just started for me and I've had my phone only a few weeks, what the heck is going on Verizon ??? First, You steal my unlimited data plan I was "promised" to maintain since YOU bought my account, then you get me on a phone that doesn't perform! POOR POOR SERVICE!
What is the issue Verizon, I have missed important calls and text due to my sound completely stopping. I reset my phone over and over, check and recheck my settings but still have NOTHING. NO music, NO button clicks, NO notifications. What's the FIX ????
I"am also having the same problem, no help form local verizon store and my phone is only 2 weeks old.
Also I have signal strength is always at 1 bar
Sounds like similar to my Razr M.
I got my Razr M the beginning of Oct. In six weeks the ear phone jack quit working. Verizon sent me a refurbished phone as a replacement.
A month after the replacment, the phone will only work in speaker mode. Ringer sometimes works but is not loud any more when it does. Verizon is sending me a 2nd replacement. Probably another refurbished (can you say cleaned up used one?).
Make sure you make your problems known to Verizon and also to Motorola!
Personally, I think the M is a lemon, but then I'm not an expert on cell phones but know when something doesn't work right. I'm very disappointed in Verizon customer service. I've been a customer since they were Air Touch (about 1997) and have 4 phones on my account now. I would think they would treat a long time customer better, but no such luck. I'm stuck on the contact now for 2 more years.
