We just received our Motorola Razr M phones and they will not connect to our home wi-fi. I've called Verizon a few times and was told by one person that there was an update I needed to download that would take care of this problem but it hasn't. Our network shows up on the list but it keeps alternating between "connecting" and "obtaining IP address." It shows the signal strength as good but it doesn't get an IP address. Our DSL modem and wireless router are connected to one computer and we get the signal on another desktop computer and on my laptop but not on the phone. Any ideas? New router, bad phones???

Do you MAC address filtering turned on for your router? This would restrict the phone from fully connecting to the router because it isn't authorized to do so. Have you verified the firmware for the router is current?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
