Razr just died???

My phone was in my pocket almost all evening. I thought it was weird that I wasn't getting any texts or calls. When I pulled it out, it was off and totally dead. I pushed the power button, nothing. Plugged it in, nothing...it didn't even show the battery like it normally does when it is first plugged in. It was working just fine this afternoon and had almost 60% battery when I looked at it last. I have had some issues with it overheating recently and was told that I needed to do a hard reset on it before Verizon would replace it. It was getting up to temperatures of 131 degrees without shutting off or going into a safe mode. I've tried to reset it with no luck. Smiley Sad Any suggestions? I love this phone, but I feel lost without it being on since I don't have a house phone. Please help!!

Charge the battery for a couple of hours.  Then try to do a soft reset.....hold the power button and the volume down button simultaneously for 10 sec and see if it will reboot.  If not, suggest you take it to a Verizon store since you can't call Customer Service.
