I recently received a new S4 through insurance due to my previous device not powering on completely. I did not have an SD card in my old device and would like to retrieve them. Is there a way to get them off the phone that won't turn on all the way?

Glad to hear you were able to get a new device through insurance. Being able to transfer your old pictures over is important. We do have a service here that will allow you to back up your photos, videos, messages, and more. Click here: http://vz.to/1O6FoQA . This would require the old device to power up completely. What happens when you attempt to turn the old device on?

It was just coming up with the screen that says Samsung galaxy s4 and then would go away before completing that step.
Unfortunately, I had to send the old phone back already since my time limit was up. I just had to let go of all my pictures since they were not all backed up.
If there is a way that you guys could get the phone from the insurance and I would still be able to get the pictures, that would be amazing! However, I don't think that is possible. Right?

ajstefko,
I regret to hear that you may be losing some pictures from your previous Samsung device. I know that can be an upsetting experience at times.
We're unable to return a device being sent to Asurion. However, if you check the link that was provided above, then you may be able to find some pictures if your phone happened to be set to automatically back up.
