Ringtones and other features

Hi everyone. I Just got this droid razr  on Saturday and  I am unable to download the ringtones that  I got from Google play. Why is that If I want ringtones do I need to get them from Verizon.

Also why is that when  I call someone I have trouble hearing the phone ring clearly.

I don't know about hearing the ringer.

Mine isn't the loudest at times either. Other times, it'll scare the bejezus outa you.

I use mp3's that I downloaded to the phone for my ringtones. I simply created a MUSIC folder on my SD card and loaded the songs to it. Then when I have a alarm or ringtone I want to select, I point it to that folder. I've never bought anything from Verizon - ringtones that is.

Zedge in the app store has some good ring tones. you might give that a try.

Agreed Zedge has a ton of free wallpapers and ringers that are compatible with a variety of phones.
