Setting up Groups for texting

Hi,

I had a group setup before my phone Razr Maxx got updated to the latest OS.  Those groups disappeared.  I searched for a way to recreate them but can't find one.  Did Google remove this capability? Any ideas?

Open your People app and swipe to get to the groups on the left side of you screen. You can select the group you want to text and then select send message, e-mail or even create an event.  As well as set up, edit or delete.  Hope this helps

Thanks for your reply, but i do have a group that I want to use but Android v4.1.1 on my Razr Maxx HD does not have the options you mention.  When I click on that group from People, the only options I have is to Edit or Delete the group.

Oh, well I thought you had the Razr Maxx, I see in  your reply that you have the Razr Maxx HD.

They are the same device.  The HD version has the extended battery.  They should work the same.  What OS version do you have?

Actually there are more differences between the DROID Razr Maxx and the DROID Razr Maxx HD. The HD version was built with ICS on board and on screen buttons. The screen is also better specs. The HD has been updated to Jelly Bean.  The DROID Razr Maxx hasn't received its Jelly Bean update officially yet.
