I am traveling and since this new update, my phone wont charge with USB attached, I am traveling in Europe and thus this is the only option for charging.  Also having camera problems =crashes, says its needs SD card inserted even though its inserted.  Any help is appreciated.

Unfortunately that is not the problem...it worked fine charging vs usb cable prior to the update...there was a choice for charge only....now there are choices for data, photo, file sharing but no USB charge...it lights up the charging light and looks like it is...but after 24 hours completely dead....I have all the correct adaptors but need to charge through phone and computer

That Option was Taken out with the I.C.S update: the adapters that Posted or you say you are ready should Work but you might have to do it Via the Computer..

Thank you all for your suggestions. I appreciate you taking the time to help out our fellow community members.

@versaloha, I feel your pain and want to help get this resolved as soon as possible! Being able to charge your phone is definitely very important for the everyday use.

Have you not been able to charge your phone via USB right after the ICS update? Let’s try disabling the USB Debugging Mode. This may help resolve your issue.

From a Home screen, select Apps (located in the lower center).
Select Settings. If the application icon is missing, select App menu filter (located at the top) then select All apps.
Select Developer options.
Select USB debugging to enable / disable. It’s enabled when a blue indicator is present.
If presented with Allow USB debugging, select OK.

Keep me posted if you are still unable to charge your phone via USB after following the steps above. I’ll be more than happy to further assist you.
