My Razr Maxx continues to announce " Verizon Wireless" for no apparent reason and it's very annoying. How do you stop this? Can I turn this announcement off withing the phone, if so How? HELP

Does this happen when you are traveling around? There is a sound setting that will say that every time you get back on the Verizon network, and if you are traveling around, you could be bouncing in and out of the network. Try SETTINGS | SOUND | and uncheck ROAMING TONE to see if that removes it.
