Text issues with Verizon Extender

Group texts have not worked consistently since I got this phone last year!  Many messages are stuck with the "download or reject" options.    I choose download...it says downloading for 30 seconds then redisplays the same options.  My husband will be sitting in the same room and gets the messages on his Droid X. 

I have been to the Verizon store (45 miles away) numerous times and no one can help.    Several months ago we added the extender in our home hoping it would improve our phone call capability throughout the house as well as resolve the text messaging.    No such luck.   

Help!

No need to fret because we'll have those texts going through lickety split. What's your zip code? Does this only happen indoors? And how long has this been an issue?

Zip 76049     This has been going on ever since I bought this phone.    Mainly indoors.
