How to I get my razr hd to turn on the notification light when I get a text message. It does it for missed calls, but not texts.
Try an app called LightFlow, works great (IMO) for managing all notifications.

Let's get your notification light up and running properly so you can view missed notifications without touching your device.
Have you verified if the widget has been downloaded? On some devices (such as Motorola Droid RAZR HD), a small number of users found that the notification light was disabled after logging into their google account if it was disabled previously on other devices with the same google account.
