This stated happening last week. People saying that they had texted me and I never received their texts. My son happens to mention over the weekend that he is getting random texts. I ask him to what it says and from who and discover that the text was meant for me. The RAZR is taking my incoming texts and re-routing them to other numbers in my contact list!
I called Verizon Friday night and they tell me that they have never heard of the problem. They check my system updates, etc... no problem with the phone. But the problem is still happening the next day. I spend the time to research online and find out that it is a HUGE problem and Verizon is well aware of it. Why would Verizon continue to sell this phone when they have know about the problem for awhile??
When I called them today and spoke to 3 different people, the answer was "We are very sorry. This is a known problem and there will be a software update coming out around April 15th"
Had Verizon done the right thing as far as customer service goes and made me aware of the issues with this phone, I would have either waited to upgrade my phone or gotten an iPhone.
Very disappointed in Verizon and their lack of service in fixing the problem.
