Timestamp displays incorrectly

Ok, here's the deal. Every once in a while my droid razr maxx HD will show the improper time. And I will say at times its been very inconvenient, I mean when I look at my phone to see what time it is I expect it to be correct, obviously. After a while it will usually update and right itself and all is normal. But not long after I got the phone this started happening and when I really noticed it was my text messages would be out of sequence. I know it sounds weird and it hasn't happened for a week or so, I am actually concerned if it were to whack out around the time my alarm is suppose to go off and make my alarm not go off like its supposed to and get me in trouble at work, etc etc... its not consistant and will just do it totally random like...

anyone else ever seen this???

This has happened on my BB Bold 9650 about a year ago. It had to do with the cell tower locations...I think. You might go into the sound settings and have it alert you when it loses network connection or is roaming. That may help you pinpoint the problem. I want to say it was do to losing network connection, but I can't swear to it. Also, check your date/time settings to see if they are all set to automatic (my thinking is that if it loses network connection it might be reverting to a different time zone). Good luck!

You also could try resetting your network connection.  Power off the phone and remove the SIM card.  Wait a couple of minutes, then replace the SIM card and reboot the phone.
