Trying to open ringtone purchased - Droid Razr M

I purchased a ringtone through the VW site, and I can't seem to access it to save it and choose it as my ringtone.  When I go to my text messages, it shows "Unsupported multimedia message."  When I select it and view message details, it says "congratulations!  you have successfully purchased your Verizon Wireless ringtone."  The instructions i got said to press and hold on the message, and a menu/option would come up to save the ringtone.  Then I would go to my settings and find the ringtone in sounds and voila! New ringtone would be there, choose, etc.....

I can't seem to get to where I press and hold on the message to save the ringtone.  Can someone help me with this, or do I need to go to the VW store and get them to take care of this or credit me the charge for the ringtone?  I was surprised that the phone didn't already come preloaded with just a simple telephone ringtone, so I am trying to download one.

Thanks for any help.

I went to the Verizon store, and the rep couldn't help with it.  It wouldn't open for her, either.  She downloaded a ringtone app for me, from which I chose the one I wanted, and advised me to call VW and request a credit for the charge for the ringtone I got off the site.  They are crediting the 2.99 back to me on my next bill.  I just won't try to buy a ringtone off the VW site anymore.

Had this problem and I have accidently been able to save the purchased ringtones.

When opening the text containing the ringtone, press and hold the "speaker icon" until the Attachment options appear, then select "Save Audio."  It will save it to Messaging Folder.   Under Apps go to Files, Favorites, when Favorites page comes up select Favorites at the top, then Device Storage, Messaging Folder.  From here I'm a little fuzzy on what happened.  But i selected the purchased ringtone, @ the bottom selected locate destination.  Went back to ringtones via contacts, selected a contact to edit, set ringtones and surprised to find the purchased ringtone was on the ringtones list.

Not sure if all of this "worked" or if it just took a little while for the system/phone to automatically load the the ringtone to the list.

maybe this will help, but if not good luck
